bday surprises

wah laos. i finally ran some long awaited errands today!

and wah laos, i realise i havent been taking pics for blog as frequently as i used to.

just so lazy man, actually a few days ago i spotted a damn good shot along beachroad but accidentally deleted the picture (the thumbnail was an old pic but actually it was just a bug in the phone, ended up deleting what i thought was an old pic, but it was actually the pic i just took. bugger). it was a shot of a blue shophouse door, and the lighting was perfect.

well today, in the spirit of the holidays, i woke up reaaally late - past noon! ok lah so i cannot win pple who sleep until 4pm lah, but still, 12pm considering i wake up abt bout 9am most days during term time...and sometimes cant even sleep at all...i'm really overdosing myself on sleep now man.

but no matter, i'm relishing it because this is the LAST school holiday i'll be having for the rest of my life.

so sad right?

it's my dad's bday today, and so my sis secretly went out to buy the cake den we secretly huddled in the kitchen try to light the cake and all - ay it's very challenging u know. u know my dad's domain is the KITCHEN lei, it's damn hard to get him out of the kitchen.

so we lit everything up and all and then we heard him shuffling around outside so we excitedly yelped and told my mum "quick quick dun let dad see!"

then she went "aiyaaah he already knows what u all are up to laaah"

then 2 secs later my bro in law walked into the kitchen and said "haha can hear u guys talking so clearly from outside lor"

so anyways, brought the cake out, and sparkie went crazy (got candles means he got a small share of the cake too mah) then my dad said "ok so this is when i act surprised right??"

hahahaha!

quite a funny day, well, to me anyway.

and prissy - wah seh u surf me from malaysia? hoh say lah! sorry cannot phuture this fri lah...kinda broke lah, this months pay went to my dad's pressie liao. :| but drop me a msg if u going down anyway? maybe i strike 4d then can go liao! hehe. which part of malaysia u in? can go KL jook?

but anyways, headed out for abit after the cake cutting and what not to run some errands, do a lil shopping and gulp down a ya kun kopi peng. either i was walking around with a smile, but service was damn good today whereever i went. everyone gave me a big smile and chitchat somemore.

did i mention how fantastic ya kun's kopi peng is? hehee. drink and you'll vibrate man. shoik ah!

oh yeah and i noticed some "strange" traffic lah...so thought i'd say hellow to lga.net.sg and shawcable surfers. holy crap, where did u guys come from?

but anyways, gillian the taitaiwannabe is back from bangkok, and will look to see if can squeeze a podcast with her soon, before she zips off again to shanghai. wah lao. this kinda holiday i oso wan lor.

but the next occasion to travel, will be to celebrate graduation. was thinking of hongkong (eating shopping eating shopping?) ... any takers? we got bout half a year to save the $$ !

There's this game called hyperframe on shockwave.com. and it's this rubics cube like game where u gotta connect the colored squares all without crossing paths. just go to shockwave and try the game to get the idea lah, but i'm stuck at this stage. how ah how ah?
