went to Cafe del Mar last night and felt so tortured.

but i cant see why everyone seems to like it ! i hated it!!

it's just such a confused place. is it a pub? a club? what? while a lot of people were dressed in day wear from the beach (sneakers, tanks, slippers), there where also a lot of people dressed to party (very high heels, backless/shoulderless tops etc etc).

the music gets loud and soft and loud and soft....be prepared to shout if your intention is to catch up with your company. the inside portion is not a place to chill and relax really. it's just too loud. it's very white-room in MOS only with many other colors. :P

no Mediterranean feel at all - it was frigid cold. but then again, i have a cold and we were sitting inside.

The toilet was wet with puddles because of the shower facility which soaks everything (for some reason it's wet in the toilet cubicles too) and there's only two urinals for the guys in their own toilet. for the toilet alone, it's an immediate failure. to illustrate how gross i think the toilet is, we went for supper at rivervalley road, and the toilet at the greasy prata place we visited was dryer than the toilet at CdM.

ugh.
