"Dear Residents,

Please do not be alarm(ed) to see smoke on 27 October morning.

We have been advised by our pest control contractor that the most effective way to eradicate adult mosquito is to do fogging in the early morning when they are most active. Therefore, we have arranged for our pest control contractors to start fogging at 8.15am on 27 Oct 2005 (Thu).

For fogging to be most effective for residents staying in the lower floors, these are some additional steps that you can take to keep mosquitoes out of your room.

1. Residents can spray their room with mosquito repellent 1 hr before 8.15am to ‘chase’ them out of your room. Then there will be a higher chance that these mosquitoes will be eradicated during the fogging session.

2. Residents can leave their room for 45 mins while fogging is being done and leave their window open.

For residents who want to stay in their room or residing in the higher floors, please close the windows in your room when fogging is in process.
