Saturday was an interesting day. I missed work (yay) because the manager "vouched" for me to be able to take leave on a sat (a NON working day i might add), and later recieved a msg that i was expected to be at work before 10am on monday, and to be prepared to stay late on monday-friday.
tho it doesnt help that work stress is driving me into a mental catatonic state. but, hurh? why be prepared? i've always been going to work BEFORE 10am, and staying till PAST 10pm what. still need to say meh?
But who cares...the impt part was I managed to squeeze out of work to plan a bday surprise for bm. Left work at 1am the night before, just so that i can get out of work on saturday. :D
stumbled out of bed to get the monster's closest fav makan for breakfast, some cake, and drinks for auntie. Went over, fed the monster....and promptly fell asleep!!! ahhh...not so festive after all. i slept until 6pm :S so much for big birthday celebrations man.
woke up extremely thirsty, so what else is there to do, but get some margaritas? heehee. bm finallymanaged to go clubbing after dunno how long (more like finally convince me to summon the energy to go) and went to see what MOS is all about.
it's all about sweaty angmohs grinding drunken singaporean girls man. hehehe. k lah...sweaty pple grinding other sweaty pple. urhg.
dun quite like the place, the crowd's mixed up and incredibly young, the music's boring, i got in wearing slippers, there's no aircon in the retro room....and damn hell of a lot of tourists man.
think i'll always have a soft spot for zouk and zouk alone.
anyway, my knees are pretty much ruined, i cant dance as much now as i used to, because my knees hurt!
so that's it for sat. Now it's sunday night, and it's work from hell tomororw, so i'm off to bed.
