...Because my toe is bleeding

going out is dangerous. i kicked somebody's shoes. and my toe bled. :S

other then the mild blood shed (literally eh) everytime i head into town, i'm struck by several things:

1 - the insane weather. good thing shorts are in fashion now, if the weather really sucks, i might just consider wearing shorts out. always end up sweating and having the jeans stick to my legs. think need to start wearing lesser. but see pt 4.

2 - the crowd. SG's just too damn crowded

3 - bad food.

4 - the plethora of lithe skinny things walking about.

when will i ever be a lithe skinny thing i wonder. now with my impending working life, i think i'll only get fatter lo. :(

i look at all the girls walkin around, especially the young school going ones in the secondary or jc ages decked out in the latest fashions, and i feel so sians. back when i was their age (cheh, like so long ago hor...) i never had the money to go out shopping and dress-up. i guess thats why i grew up in t-shirt and jeans, and up till now, i'm ALWAYS in t-shirt and jeans, hardly anything glammy, fashiony, or girly in general. to look the way most girls do, cost money. and back when i was in sec sch, my dad forbid me to work part-time because he wanted me to conc on studies etc, and was given money for food and entertainment and such, but not shopping. shopping costs shitloads, and are events grudgingly carried out once a year for CNY, during which i'll just buy more jeans and t shirts that last forever. i guess thats why i still look the way i look (dowdy and boring) and i don't have the stereotypical female stamina or love for shopping. it just exhausts me. but i do feel the yen to look good, or at least, glam up abit. ok so i'm unique, so unique i don't look local (indonesian? malaysian? taiwanese? PRC?!?!?!? ugh...), and i don't look local because i don't glam up because glamming up involves money which i never had, and since i've never had it, even with the money-earned and spending power, would still probably never glam up cuz i never grew up LEARNING how to glam up.

even so, i think i'm just not the regular singapore-girl size. everyone's tiny, i'm like a stocky broad shouldered giant next to them. (Did i mention, my dad always envisioned me to sign on to the army? haha.) even if i do dress up in all the fashionable things, i'll just feel like a bloody transvestite - i sure look like one.

sigh oh well, just gotta accept and live with what i'm stuck with - i'll never be a lithe skinny thing. i would like to say i'm a broad shouldered stocky sporty person. but i'm not. i do sports, but i ain't sporty at all.

Oh yeah, i oso mentioned that i was intending to head to the bank to sort out some accounts, and u know what? i queued for 3 hrs, only to find out i cant get anything done, because i left my ic at home

no driver's license not accepted, but i can always use my birth cert that provides no visual identification or thumbprint. lovely.

regretted not taking note of the officer's name tho, the lady who helped me out with my stuff was really nice, could have written her a nice commendation letter for really good service. hmm.
